  2. did a job for a multi millionaire a few years back. he had a kitchen company design him a kitchen then sent the drawings to some outfit up north..
    the guy i was working for priced the install based on the drawing and the cabinets arriving assembled.
    what turned up was a few cabinets partly assembled on the first delivery, the 2nd delivery was all flat pack with no drawings, fixings and only some panels pre drilled and the 3rd was a pile of panels not drilled or even cut to size... he basically refused to pay any more money on the install despite it taking 3 weeks in stead of 1..
    he was quoted 19k for supply by the first outfit and paid 2800 to the northern mob... expected the same look though

  3. I'm in a lucky position that im always flat out !! No web site ,no facebook and no advertising so when I get an inquiry they tend to be at least aware of my terms of business !! I've had the I got a price 50% cheaper lark I'm happy to let them off the jobs never get finished !!

  4. Dinner with Mrs b at miller & carter steakhouse. First time there for me. Lovely t-bone.
    Not quite the 5* beach resort dinner with champagne on the beach I planned, but that’s life :upyeah:

  5. That’s a hard one. I assume it’s in West Cork somewhere, it’s a standing stone for sure, part of a henge I would guess. I’ve been to Drombeg Stone Circle, near Glandore, which is the main one around here, and don’t recall a standing stone with a hole in it, so I’m a bit flummoxed :thinkingface:. You’ve got me on that one:confused:
