Found out my driving licence expired 24th September All renewed online now but could have been awkward if something had happened.
Worth having a quick look if you don't know when yours is due, £1000 fine if you get caught out plus it would almost certainly invalidate your insurance.

 

I wonder how many older ones don't know they changed it to renew every 10 years ?

 

Apparently DVLA reckons that there are 2.3 million expired photocard licences, fair bet that many of them will be older people - over 70's have to renew every 3 years. A reminder from DVLA would be quite easy and inexpensive surely? and would help ensure that drivers are on the road legally.

 

Wife and daughter were in Dublin this weekend casing possible wedding venues.
