Basically we are having issues with some page load and hosting issues. There was something slowing the site down and we have needed to take access off line whilst fixing. Over the next couple of days any access issues are as a result of the troubleshooting.\
I can only access from the 'recent post' button at the moment. If I try and go to the forum from the home page it just cycles back.
Strange but it's working fine on my iPad but not on laptop, will delete my cached history and try again.
Sorry to hear of the continuing teething problems Rob - excuse me if i'm telling granny etc but have you considered losing half or three quarters of the experience/awards system as i'm guessing this represents quite a lot of additional processing? I don't know if i'm alone in this, but I for one wouldn't miss it.
Has everyone lost their viewing history, or is it just me? Whenever I press view first unread it just stays on the first one, even on threads where I have posted further on.
Great I'm back on, I thought Dan was back in charge for a minute Only thing I'm lacking is my experiance factor,-- I was top in everything Rob Oohh and my smiley face things arnt playing today neither.
The only error I'm getting is with response notifications. I get a notification, but when I click the link it takes me to the beginning of the thread, not to the latest post. Oh, and the smileys ain't working.
Smileys are working this end for me - via Firefox Oops - no they're not! You can attach them but when you click "submit" they disappear.......
Rob a small request for later. When you are done with repairing all the stuff could you have a look in to optimising the site to internet explorer 10? It is a beta probably for next 3 - 4 months. Also the same for windows phone mobile? It all works and displays ok but some of the buttons move about and overlap a bit. Some issues I have at the moment on my IE10: - When I type a post/reply or reply with quote I can not use ENTER to start in a new line. I just have to continue it all in one line like this not like this - Problem 2 is rather odd when I click any of the buttons to add something (in advance view) like to attach a photo or link a photo from another source a white square artefact shows up between the page and new pop up window. Because of that I can not see where my pictures are inserted at and I can not edit the post accordingly. To get rid of the artefact I have to close or finish adding my attachments. Then open it up again so the square disappears. Then I just close it and am back to normal.
