Yeah i noticed them lastweek. Extremely disappointed was waiting for a nice full system from akra but this is all theyr going to bring out for the Hyper. Was also not impressed with the way the austin racing cans look on the Hyper. So looks like il be ordering Sc Project cans and arrow decat as soon as the moneys in my bank
Agreed! I’ve got a pair of S1 mufflers ready to go on when I can make time to book in and get it mapped but was kind of hoping Akrapovic might release something that would blow everything else out of the water...
Does nobody like the Austin Racing cans? I think this is the route I’m going to go. The termi was my first choice but I’m not sure it’s the one to go for. The fact it’s a single sided system is a big fail in my eyes. But it’s the only full system and obviously the up map. £2400 fitted seems steep too
Go for SC Project - superb sound especially if you remove the Cat and fit the link pipe. Runs brilliantly.
I had the Rexxer Re-Map installed at the Ducati dealership. Not 100% sure if i needed it as it did seem to run ok but after the re-map it did make a big difference - a lot smoother and more response.

Seems daft to post it on Instagram but not on the website to order. Hopefully not too long to wait. Why do you think the existing SC cans won’t be compatible?
Look at the placement of the welds on the link pipe, the cans slide straight on where as the existing ones fit the ducati system, hopefully they’ll make a different link pipe as an option. I like the way only the rear cylinder pipe loops around the swing arm, I assume so it’s a similar length to the front cylinder pipe for better flow. I’ll be there on Friday so will ask
Aah ok. I don’t have the end cans... was just wondering. It would be ridiculous not to make it compatible with all the end cans they’ve already sold so you’d think they would have to make a new link piece. Can you ask when they’ll be available to order. Cheers
SC estimate it will be ready to order by Christmas, they wouldn’t be drawn on cost and you can fit the existing cans if you’re prepared to cut them as the header is a consistent diameter...... I’d rather not. The chap I spoke to did stress that it was a race system but I can’t see that you’d never get on track in the UK with it, I think it’s going to be pretty loud. Looks great
Well, after saying I would t I’ve ordered the full termi system. Hopefully have it fitted in the new year !
