Very apprehensive about using the rear paddock stand as last time out had a slight mishap on the swingarm undulation,no damage but the thing slipped away from me & nearly lost the bike.
know what you mean.. as we.. (speak for my self) I get older then it all gets a bit wobbly when you realise that the slightest wrong movement and you could make a real mess of it, one of the few times when it would be nice to have a 2nd person.
Road down to MR to have my voltage leakage diagnosed, ‘twas a bit misty but about 12 degrees and dry. Actually quite pleasant. Nowt wrong with the bike, just my luck, the new and ridiculously cheap battery bought in Portugal, is sh*t. 2 duff batteries, what’s the chance of that ? Also collected the rear axle I had to replace due to rounding out a disc bolt after the engineering company opposite MR retrieved it for me. The ride home was not quite as pleasant as the heavens opened and pissed on me. Washed and dried the bike before putting it to bed until Saturday when, come hell or high water, I’m off out on it for the day. Andy
Sadly it's been confirmed today that condoms don’t guarantee safe sex anymore. A friend of mine was wearing one when he was shot by the woman’s husband.
It was scorchio here today (well dry and sunny at least) and SWMBO had the day off work as she has holidays to use up before the year end - even though she only works 2.5 days/week, so we decided to go for a picnic. Cucumber sandwiches and lashings of ginger beer. Sure, t'was a grand day out.
