British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Meh.

A commentator describing the magician's trick based upon what what he sees on the stage rather than what the trick is and how it is performed.

No mention of how all of this Westminster "drama" plays into the hands of the EU project - how nation states' ballots are ignored, denatured, outlasted by the EU's tactics.

It's a puff piece written to look clever and incisive but instead its purpose is to disguise what is actually going on. Meaningless details expanded upon and endlessly cogitated over. Admiring the inlay on the handle of the knife that's being plunged in the back of democracy.

The EU Establishment - in Brussels and in Westminster - will deflect and delay and wait for a fickle public to lose interest in the Brexit process. However long this takes. The MSM will assist in this endeavour by providing infotainment and diversion.

  4. So what do we think will happen in a general election?

    Tories + Brexit party combine?

Lib + Lab + SNP combine?

Would it then be like a power rangers battle?

  5. I'm not gonna lie though @Loz , I particularly liked "Admiring the inlay on the handle of the knife that's being plunged in the back of democracy"

That's some deep shit at this time of the morning, good, but deep :punch:

  8. The result will be determined by the when, so "when" is a good question, Comrade.

All I can tell you is, if the traditional parties win the next GE, British Independence is a former dream of 17.4M voters.

  9. When would the power rangers battle commence? Thats a good point

Can power rangers fight in the dark due to winter time? Maybe the battle arenas will all be booked up for nativity plays?

I've really not thought this through have I : unamused:

  12. If Rylan 'the teeth' Clark-Neil can get a job hosting supermarket sweep then anything is possible, even portboy becoming a twitter sensation.

Shall we try it? @portboy have you got a twitter account?

  13. True Credence.

I was going to put Labour too, but they’re worth a vote if you like the ‘what’ and don’t care about the ‘how’.

  14. It's perfectly clear isn't it :eyes:

Nah, I'm just kidding, it'd be another wasted vote for steptoe.

Having said that he 'nearly' committed to agreeing a pact with the Lib Dems and SNP for a December 5th GE, I think his greatness uttered the word 'maybe'

He's fucking leadership material that fella :punch:

  16. Alan, I always thought you came across as sensible but if you think Corbyn, Abacus, Thornberry etc are worth a vote I was wrong....
I just cannot fathom how anyone could vote for these repulsive creatures!
I say the same for the Tories and Lib Dems.
They all need to be annihilated at the polls, sadly they won’t.
Whether it’s a good idea or not it’s the Brexit Party for me.

    I still love you Alan....

  18. I’d like to think they were worth a vote, living wage for all, free this and that etc etc, follow Corbyn on Twitter, it’s fun seeing who he’s going to help next ( my money is on sailmakers).
Trouble is there’s no ‘how’ they are going to do these wonderful things.

I agree, it’s sad that the ‘main’ parties will probably still win seats.

I deliberately left Labour out of my first comment, but lost control a short time later.
