Can you imagine this generations willingness to save democracy and freedom should a world war happen again as some of the over 70's did to give today's 16-34's??
I expect some discussions will be had over this. "The draft text of an agreement for the 27 EU ambassadors - seen by the BBC - also includes a commitment that the Withdrawal Agreement on the UK's exit from the EU cannot be renegotiated in future.
Not really as its a nonsense condition. If for example a future UK government wanted to increase the ties/ co operation with the EU by extending the customs union, I doubt the EU would refuse.
which could be seen as another good resaon to move on the GE. most accept the offical opposition has been dier.
Just thinking beyond brexit, would that one line ^^^^ kill off all indi referendums for scotland and a possible irish reunification? For either to leave the U.K. it would require revisiting the current leave the eu proposal
Yes. They lost the legitimate binary choice vote, so have hatched a plan to reverse it in a remainer biased plot. Now they can call it "a people's vote" and come out with soundbites about putting it back to the people, the vote being 3 years old, people not knowing what a deal looked like back then, but it's quite simply a bunch of sore losers seeing a way to get what they want. Almost all people who support this and are involved in it, voted to remain. You just have to look at the choices on the proposed vote to see how crooked it is. The winning option of the referendum isn't even on the ballot paper. People who want to leave are supposed to make do with the new treaty negotiated by the gov't that keeps us tied to the EU and with years more wrangling to come, despite being deeply unhappy with it. We had a vote. We were told it would be enacted. We were told there would be no 2nd vote. We were told that if we voted to leave, we would leave. Democracy is a foreign concept to remainers. When they lose, they howl and squeal, protest on the streets, want to ignore a democratic referendum, want to rig another referendum, want to change the age of who can vote in an election / referendum..................
Its another reason why its a nonsense condition. I expect its an attempt to prevent a UK government coming back yet again with their own position unchanged whilst demanding further concessions from the EU.
Shock horror. Look where it came from. They should also ask if they wanted the war graves of 1.7m soldiers in Europe dug up to free up land to build free houses for the young. After all, most of these ingrates are over 100 years old now and just lying there selfishly atopping the future generation getting on the property ladder. Maybe they could get pensioners to build the houses too, after all they do nothing all day.
I think the little thick cvnts should not be allowed to vote until they grow some (about 40 yrs old should do it) There you go, an opposing poll for you, I did it this morning
