British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. I think I know what you mean.

Doesn't help that they are pretty much all as bad as each other.

While we are on the subject of lies, didn't the EU say they wouldn't negotiate any other withdrawal agreement after the May one ?
And. as @Jez900ie stated earlier in the thread, if Corbyn won a GE (I know) and wanted to add closer ties to the EU to the WA they would probably be happy to change it.

  2. I've always found the biased against cummings quite funny given the almost anonimity of say Seumas Milne for labour.

Despite listing his relatives, Cummings was the son of a oil rig project manager and a special needs teacher whilst Milne, is the son of a former BBC Director General and Seumas's own kids are being educated at Grammar schools

  3. It's almost as if it's all a smokescreen to disguise the fact that our establishment has no intention of extracting the UK from the EU Superstate.

  4. Quite entertaining, I wonder how many politicians would pass a thorough scrutiny of their ideals etc.

  5. Bugger that, I wonder how many would pass a screening for cocaine.

  6. Possibly, but as the EU seem to be open to receiving letters from literally anyone, I'll probably pen one just in case and ask them to fuck Corbyn around for bantz ;)

  9. Not unsurprisingly it would seem that you're now talking about something entirely unrelated to the point I was trying to make regarding voter strategy

    Cheers ;)

    Groan.

SNP and Lib Dims won't agree to that - it wasn't their idea.
Labour won't agree - because it's cold and dark.

Tories won't agree to 9th December GE because, oh I don't know,.

  13. In the case of narcissistic personality disorder, narcissists feel they are totally okay, and think that everyone else has a problem. This is called ego-syntonic behavior. ... Instead, take a hard look at whether the behavior the gaslighter accuses you of is actually something they are doing.

  14. The PM says repeatedly "Leaving on 31st, no ifs no buts" but doesn't follow through (he was still saying this just four days ago).

I think the public have a fair expectation that he has done his homework, & knows that it will happen. The PM has the best lawyers and legal advisers available. How did he may such a massive mistake?

There is fairly clear choice between incompetant & liar. Not much to choose between the two.

  15. true. cherry kept him honest.

  16. I appreciate your self reflection fin, the therapy is working :upyeah:

Tip, lay off such terms as gaslighting, it makes you look like an old fart trying to connect "wit da kids" :D

  17. Tories don't want 9 Dec because that makes it easier for students to place their two-votes-each.

Coincidentally, this is the same reason why Labour does want 9 Dec.

  18. There's a theoretical chance that BoJob can pull some sort of WTO-Exit out of the hat on 31 Oct ...

However, I tend rather to agree with Jez here. The extension will proceed. BoJob is a liar.

It's all smoke and mirrors, in order to disguise the anti-democratic nature of our Parliamentary Democracy.

  19. He had all that help from parliament too, useless t0sser.
