Tell her its the sartorial element of their attire that attracts you; whats in or out this season...lime green ensemble with white baseball cap and shoes my fav so far
I painted some fairings today and quite literally watched the paint dry. Far more entertaining than watching golf!
I used to spend an awful lot of my time playing and watching gold before 2007 when I go into my bikes. I miss it every now and again. The Masters is always a special tournament
Took the words out of my mouth, golf ruled my life until illness put a stop to it, I played of 7 and was captain of my club in 2002, now all my spare time is taken up with the bike while my wife plays golf! Don't enjoy watching golf as much now i don't play very often. Steve
I only managed captain of the junior team  I got to 3, but was playing off 4 when I crashed my bike the first time and hurt my shoulder.
I was caddy a couple of times because I'm hopeless player But by god it's BORING never watch it either I would rather watch silicon dry
Played off 8 a few years ago now but work got in the way and I couldn't get out often enough so slipped a bit and was scraping round off 10 up 'til this time last year when work reared it's ugly head again. Just renewed my membership and had a couple of games so far this month but I've got a lot of work to do if I'm going to see single figures again.
Golf itself is a nice sport, I find it relaxing and fun to play, always good for some friendly banter with like minded folk. What I do struggle with tho is its ever so stuffy conservative image. Snobbery is rife amongst the higher echelon and for that reason alone I quit playing some time ago short of municipal courses. The Masters is fantastic tournament, always watch as much of it as I can.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf like I do. As to watching it, I find having a few shillings on makes it considerably more interesting - I've got 70p on Leishman at 770/1, so I expect he'll drop away tonight.
