  4. They pulled me up on the front brake lines, which were old with exposed braiding and a little too short, as I had put the forks and headstock to the factory height, as found in the workshop manual. All sorted yesterday with new lines from Hel.

    I'll be reading your web pages with interest over the next few days.
    I have just purchased a Spondon Ducati project which will need a lot of tidying up as it goes together. Hoping I can do it to a standard approaching your 888.

  13. I did a lot of reading and also found out pretty quickly where my skills stopped and brought in the experts. It's equally a credit to them that it looks this good.
