She still reminds me of a gormless uni debate team leader than a leader of a U.K. national party Was she blaming everything on westminster?
General Election 2019: Nigel Farage says he will not stand as MP http://news.sky.com/story/general-election-2019-nigel-farage-says-he-will-not-stand-as-mp-11852868 View attachment 174257
On Marr, McDonnell is being challenged on if the tories win then the nhs will be privatised through any deal with the U.S. He pointed out Canada, Austrailia have a state type health system and none of those have been taken over by the U.S. when they have completed recent trade deals and his best answer was "I don't trust Trump" That is the basis of their claim,no facts, just scaremongering as we discussed recently.
The BBC is so biased I may decline my membership subscription next year. Push labour, Lib Dems (who?) and that poisonous little one trick pony from our northern most district. HAMMER the conservatives and Boris. Then use tools like "Reality Checker" to push their version of the interpretation of the facts. I hope Boris wipes out the license fee and redesigns that corporation into something fit for the 21st Century as soon as he takes the country where the majority wants to go.
I guess Australia (being federal) and Canada (being federal) the opportunities are not there. top it off with population numbers and density. nah, not conducive with a privatisation on a Trumpian level.
Great! Now Anne Widdicombe could be our next PM when all the BP votes sweep the country... Or is it really that Farage, without an actual party, without any structure, rules or policies is at the end of the line - way out of his depth and afraid that he won't get elected (again)? Farage has sold (some) a pup!
Nor is the U.K.'s fin as we pointed out before, the claim was used on the 2010 election, never happened, the 2015 election, never happened, the 2017 election, never happened and being claimed in 2019 again, won't happen. Still it was good for it to be challenged on the screen
It would be nice to see the licence fee removed and the BBC forced into the open market rather than a free buffet lunch that they seem to enjoy, house of lords closure would be lovely too
At least this one trick pony has the decency not to stand for election. Madam cranky other had his still peddling her pish....... she's like a stuck record. And like Trump she files to listen to the people she is supposed to represent. I wonder how may seats they will loose this time around?
If this is not some weird trick, it is perplexing ... unless Farage has finally noticed the rift that is opening up between BoJob "Brexiteers" and BXP Brexiteers and fears the splitting of vote between Tories and BXP giving Labour the victory more than he fears faux-Brexit. This could be a tactic to take the wind out of the BXP's sails. Either that or GCHQ has finally delivered the goods and Farage has been effectively muzzled by some past indiscretion ... Personally, I welcome a Corbyn government in preference to a Tory one. Ask me why.
I'm sure fin will correct if incorrect. In 2015 the snp took 56 of the 59 seats for Scotland. In the 2017 election they lost 21 of those seats and ended up with 35 seats and lost the majority within the devolved parliament but remain still the largest party in Scotland Various reasons for this happening, but seeing the first few days of Sturgeon electioneering, she seems to have learned very little from 2017
Well done labour shadow chancellor. ..... Heathrow expansion 'does not meet' Labour criteria - McDonnell. That should change the voting around here....
