British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Evidence for *bottle* being the cause, rather than Farage's stated reason?

  2. Yes you do
Must have slipped your mind then
    Wrong. They do. Always.

  3. I'd accept & support Brexit if there were a confirmatory second referendum, with the three options.

  4. Very true. Haven’t made my mind up yet, you ?

Don’t know, no one predicted that, did they.

  6. Tories are supposedly losing some of their lead over the others......

  7. We are almost in agreement, just two referendums for me. :)

  8. 1) Sack Boris?
    2) Ignore Porridge?
    3) If the confirmatory second referendum loses to Leave, run a third one?

  9. Currently he has some credibilty, some might even describe him as the father of Brexit... But theres never been any substance or depth to this guys politcal career.

Soon his will be the party that failed to get any traction in a general election again. Sensibly he drew the line on failing to get elected as an MP at seven times.

After the election failiure, Nige will shrug, pull an inane grin and say "I did my best what more could I do - I gave up my own chances to be elected to support the others". Totally blameless.

Then he will continue to heckle for as long as someone will put a microphone in front of him. Just like he always has.

  10. Farage ?

    or Corbyn ?

  11. You mean a rigged vote in favour of Remain, very democratic.

  12. Boris hasn't won yet.
    Porridge?
    Confirmatory referendums are binding

  13. Corbyn has one of the three largest majorities in the country iirc

  14. No.

  15. Ok.
If he loses though, will he continue to heckle or stand down.

  16. Corbyn? If he doesn't form the next government, I'd expect that he will stand down in the months following the election, in time for a new leader at the annual general meeting. I wouldn't think he would quit the following day.

I think he would continue as an MP though.

  17. Is Farage's failure to gain traction in a GE that will determine the fate of Brexit his fault? Or the fault of an electorate that is unwilling or unable to grasp what's at stake?

You can lead a Population to water but you cannot make them drink.

  18. Partly his fault I would say.

He’s kind of tried to make himself the face of Brexit and now isn’t standing, does look a bit like he’s avoiding any ‘blame’.

It can’t all be the electorates fault, surely.

  19. Ha! May & Corbyn might have used those same words.

Just don't start saying deep state robbed Nige of his crown...

  20. His standing down from being a candidate, regardless of any good reasons for it, will be and is, viewed very dimly by the voting Public. To that extent, he has sabotaged himself and his Party.

    Nope. (Unless GCHQ did it!)

The only robbery that took place was the Deep State stealing every opportunity the electorate has had to free itself from the EU Empire, through political shenanigans, biased media, legal jiggery-pokery and a constant refusal to engage honestly in the process.

    Robbery indeed!
