Says ‘burn’ so may be the wiring loom needs replacing? If I were closer I’d go have a look at this

 

Change the brake and clutch fluid first though!

 

Clutch fluid always gets dirty but yes why not and the brake reservoir looks low to me...leak maybe or pads down.

I had one of these a good few years back. Two nice Kawasaki’s and tons of spares bit the dust.
Did not stay empty in the garage for long, she must have gone away for a weekend with her mum or something.

 

Got a quick shifter, like as not the gearbox is toast. Andy
