I am under instructions to get this house finished and on the market next year (barn to convert where most of the bikes are stored) then another place built on our vacant plot with the sale proceeds. That will keep me busy for the whole of 2020!

IMHO I don’t think it’s worth more than 3k, maybe 3.5k tops. It’s a ‘base’ E version and, although he’s done a fair few things on it, from the photos there’s a lot of corrosion and a lot of work needs doing to make it clean, tidy, presentable and as it should be. Having just completely stripped & overhauled my 1999 748 I know what’s involved. If you have the time to do all that’s needed yourself then go for it but budget on spending c.1k on the necessary bits & pieces.
