  1. World superstock they seem to be competitive, WSBK in the second group of riders so little off the pace, BSB and BSStk considerably off. How come sstk at world level they can be winners but the rest not?!

  2. British superstock the MR rider seemed to be holding his own for the first 5 or so laps then slipped back, and kept slipping until his crash. Don't know if this s cause his tyres were fooked or what.

p.s. hope he's ok. Think he might still be in hospital.

  3. Broken leg, dont know which bone, according to FB status. Pretty lucky given speed and place of crash!

know what you mean but he went 5th to 12th before crash, and some of it may be rider but I'm not sure it is. BSB is a toghie as MR have to junk so much of what comes standard, but WSBK have loads of effort but still seem way off the pace for a world champion

  4. "On track or on road there's nothing to beat the 1199 panigale"... Really?

i'm betting next years PR campaign will be based on 'Passion' and 'soul' and less the racetrack! It looks like its built for glamour shots in Abu Dhabi, it's about the only track it looks good on!!!

  5. The way that he dropped off suggests tyres to me. Pirelli asked that the 2nd 600 race be dropped to 15 laps as they had concerns over tyre wear.

when he was going past us, just after the start you could see the rear trying to step out, getting progressively worse. Perhaps the setup was wrong as yesterday was a washout, or the 1199 likes eating tyres.

  6. Opinion around us suggested the rear let go all of its own accord. Unusual spot to crashapparently

With what looked 2 mechanicals for Matteo not the best weekend, and after all the effort the MR guys put into this is a proper shitter

  7. its not that the pani is worse than the 1198. it s just that the rest got much and much better than they were... and in wsbk, there is already talk of getting rid of some restrictions.. this would be mid year.. you can't be competitive if you choke the engine off..

doing good in WSS says a lot on the bike itself..

  8. on the road there are plenty of bikes to beat the Pani, beginning with the Multi!

on track, it's going to be hard to beat the pani base in stock version... if all are left in stock version. that is the aprilia non factory and the beemer without any gizmmo's, the ZX10
