  5. I’m not far away in Hamilton, but often through Lanark. We’ve got some great roads in this neck of the woods.
Know what you mean about the wrists, back, neck and all other aching bits. Went to Skye and back for the day this year (430 miles). Absolute agony.

  6. Jeez that’s a proper run to do in 1 day, hats off to you mate. That would be a sore one on any bike! My default run for a quick blast is Lanark, Bigger, Broughton, onto Moffat and back via St Mary’s loch. Lots of great roads either side of the M74 South. We’re spoilt for choice here, perfectly placed to go North or South. Maybe see out and about next year mate.

  7. welcome aboard Steve ,
    Lovely bike .

  8. Sounds good Stephen, I'll contact you in the spring once the covers are off again. Thornhill is a good run too, or the Beeftub, or just about anywhere else...

  17. 964656A1-5120-40A0-8702-27544117BDC5.jpeg Managed to get a short run on Friday, not a great idea but couldn’t help myself. 4degC, light frost and manky roads! Didn’t learn much about the bike other than the quick shifter and down blipper is butter smooth and the traction control cuts in in every gear running in a straight line with a cautious throttle! Not every day you will see a 226bhp super bike limping home with a que of cars behind :) Anyway, suitably tucked away for the winter now... 2189C842-6905-443E-BABE-999FFFB76BCC.jpeg View attachment 175198
