1260 Farkles And Toys :)

  1. So, with a new bike arriving on Tuesday and my birthday on Saturday what toys can I add :)

Just bought the Evotech Rad and Oil Cooler cover, I can't help feeling like a Magpie...

  2. Happy Birthday. First birthday toy on my list would be a bodacious 25 year old female fitness trainer who's daddy owns a liquor store.
In that absence, I'd settle on an engine guard, a quality GPS mounting bracket, throttle spacer and a 42T rear sprocket.

  3. Lol, thanks for that :) Just a bottle of whiskey and a GPS mount would be nice. I believe I'm getting Evotech bar ends which look nice, as for the 25 year old, it just going to be the whiskey unfortunately!

  5. @Hexme I almost forgot. I had my Yuasa OEM Lead Acid Battery changed for a Lithium before delivery of the bike.
Since the OEM battery is still sealed in the box and not filled with water my dealer agreed to have me pay the retail difference to upgrade. Sweet.

  6. Will my Oxford oximiser still work with this type of battery?

  7. No. Unless it's specifically made for Lithiums.
However, Lithiums don't really require a tender as much as a Lead-Acid battery. It will keep a charge for months as long as there's no parasitic draw.
Their advantages are a higher cranking amps and 6~7 lbs in weight saving...at the top of the bike.

  8. Bigger!

  9. I mean Bugger, bloody spell checker.

  10. I have several battery tenders but decided to turn the page. I bough a lithium tender. Truth be told, I never use it.
Now ( pre-delivery) would be an opportunity to upgrade at low cost if your dealer is accommodating.

  11. I would also get the Evotech engine guard, it tidies up the front nicely and really does protect the front of the engine from all the crud.
