yes, done all that, the glass frontage has a matt finish which feels as if it covers the viewing window.
it would seem that way on the outside but i cant lift anything with my finger nail, just can't believe they would design something with a facility to view the cooking process which you clearly can't.
The only other thing it might be the gap between the external glass and the internal glass. whilst in storage sometimes causes like a dry murky dust. If you have the instructions, cleaning and maintenance shows you how to drop the door and remove the internal glass to clean between both
They wouldn’t. So something on there.....if the glass come out, mist do, take it out and have a Stanley blade on a corner to triple check no film
I have been on the bone to Amica UK in Notts, re my concerns, they say that it is correct as it is the look and design, he agreed that looking a photo of the lit oven visibility was not good, i asked it was a design fault as the outer door surface the glass has been etched all over to obtain the matt look. Apparently i am the first to ever raise the issue, i said the sales features list an i- light twin halogen set up that boost the visibility through the door lessening the need to open when cooking. He replied that it was a distributors advert and not the words of Amica. So there we have it, i have carried out the initial burn in and wash the oven chamber, removed the door and removed the 2 glass inserts washed the whole of the door assembly, no different. Missus, is cooking a roast now in it, just taken the beef joint out and i had a taster, OMG the best tasting beef i have ever had. Aberdeen Angus topside 30 day matured. That fvcker ain't going to hang around much longer, down the crop. Thanks boys for input its appreciated, the missus will have get used to the mother and lump it. I reckon its cool and really efficient.
no no not when baking a cake maun, it will fvck it up, plus her bending over peering through the glass has created some tender moments
I knew you would be a in the kitchen shagger, they always do it in there because it's closer to the fridge for munchies afterwards
