Consider all western countries incidence of war involvement, together with those who maintain large armed forces. Then look at all western countries without large armed forces and their involvement in wars. I hope you see an immediate correlation?

These Western countries without large armed forces ... would any of these be backed up by a Western country with a very large armed force, by any chance? And please, do not conflate bellicoseness with the ability to defend oneself. The two qualities can and do exist independently of each other. Hmm. You do realise I wasn't referring just to war between nations back there in my "test", right?
