I already nominated you, Alan. peanut said he'd never forgive me if I didn't give you the No 2 job (although we were talking toilets at the time so maybe I have gotten it wrong).
"If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem" & "You've got to be in to win" spring to mind. The ignore the problem and refuse to effect a solution can be fatal in house fires and sinking ships - just sayin...
A bird in the hand is worth two in the Bush ? (Could t think of a better one, sorry). Not saying ignore the problem. I’m saying make ‘none of the above’ an option.
What will be the practical effect of this option, Alan? I know the theoretical effect but what will really happen as a result?
Haha, I was going to quote exactly the same thing I've since been searching the tinterweb for two suitable Pictures of Bush....clean pictures are hard to find
If you don't vote, you have no effect on what happens. The problem continues unchanged. Identical effect to ignoring the problem. You are letting the bird in hand (aka the goose that lays the golden egg) go and there are no bushes in sight.
OK. Write in "None of the Above" on your ballot, Labour will take that as a vote for them, job's a good'un.
