Wasted 20 minutes in a queue on-line waiting for an HMRC advisor to deal with other people’s queries before being free to deal with mine. Found out this morning, my annuity pension provider was required by HMRC in May to take 50% tax of my £450 quarterly pension payment at source. First I’d heard of it hence the on-line HMRC help desk ‘chat’. Turns out the computer decided that my meagre annuity is my main pension and not the somewhat larger occupational pension so has been trying to recover the tax due on my state pension from the annuity. The helpful advisor was at a loss to explain why the computer did what it did but the attitude was tough, it is what it is, oh and by the way because of the computer’s mistake, you will owe £1500 for the 2019/2020 tax year by April so we’ll start recovering it from your occupational pension from December at £375 for the next 4 months. Fortunately I won’t be destitute but as I will have to cut back on spending, I’m truly concerned about Moto Rapido’s profits Andy

Mostly I are been takin’ the paint off my Track Bandit’s tank along with my boy, who was not in college today so I let him loose with the Dremel (pic was before he graduated to using the flexible attachment).

 

Would a small ratchet strap through the wheel then over the seat frame allow you that second pair of hands to get the wheel lined up with the aid of the strap, then move to the side to put the axle pin through?

 

Nice idea maybe i'll try that move out next time around.

 

i actually just ordered some thermal socks last night... bit cheaper than the ones you mentioned but i think they are the same as i got a few years back and they were really good. just looked at your ones on amazon and the cheapest was a tenner a pair!!! my boots cost less!!!

Sounds normal. They are persecuting thousands of people each year with bully boy tactics and threats. And no one is doing anything about it.

 

I reckon she`s a lot tougher than the pussies I loosely call my friends.
She hates bikes with a passion, which is good for me because I`m always one up, but it also means it`s the devils own job to have more than two bikes at any one time. Best I managed was three, but it was not a quiet life, I can tell you. She likes me to operate on a one out one in policy.
