  10. Its the day before that I'm interested in weatherwise, that's when we're riding down. Showers by the look of it.

  11. I'll be the one in black leathers

  12. No need to dress up! ;)

  13. I am staying in Bristol for the weekend not far from the Bristol eye hospital. Would anyone happen to be passing the area on the way to gordano services for the ride-in on Saturday morning? I would like to tag along if poss. as I don't know the area at all.
    Thanks

  14. Update from Goody (BIAMF DOC Organiser)

So I hope you are all excited and enthusiastic for the BIAMF this weekend. Not really any changes to the format - HEY IF IT AIN'T BROKE DON'T FIX IT.
So usual format, if anyone here is available to help marshall down in town we could do with some people to help direct the bikes in when they arrive. If you are available you just need to be down in Corn Street by 0930hrs Saturday morning. See my Representative Manager (My wife) Elisabeth. She can kindly direct you to what you can do and how you can help. Her word goes!
For the rest of us who will riding our amazing steeds into town you need to be up at Gordanno Services on the M5 before 0900hrs. People start arriving anytime from 0800hrs to have a breakfast and chat and look around the bikes. I will be doing my usual debrief around 0900. We will then group up in Marques and get into an approximate order of march. Then at 0930hrs we will head off on the same old route down into the centre of town. You can't beat the site and sound of between 200-300 Italian V-Twins roaring through Bristol!!!
And of course Don't forget to pick up your Current copy of RIDE magazine. Page 30 lists the Event as the No.2 event to do for the Year (DON'T WORRY WE'LL GET THAT UP TO No.1 SOON). A great magazine and an avid Ducati Fan and great promoter of our club and events...
I HOPE TO SEE AS MANY OF YOU AS POSSIBLE ON SATURDAY

  15. bigred, if you are staying near Bristol eye..Holiday inn or Du Vin ;) you are a stones throw from where everyone meets for the show. To travel in from Gordano you would either have to drive back up the M32 onto the M4 West, catch the M5 south and stay on there for 10-15 mins before reaching Gordano. Or ride past the venue and out the same way that you would ultimately come back in......if you imagine a square and that is the route you are in the bottom right hand corner as is the venue and Gordano is top left hand corner..so you would have to be quite committed to get there.

  16. Couple of us going from S Wales if anyone else wants to tag along your welcome.
