We get on quite well and his work is first class but I'm no mug and won't be taken for one. I have my own electrical contracting business as well and only do repeat business for good payers. He knows I'm good for the money but I'm proving a point.

They sent me a video taken on the inside of the tank, there’s plenty of good solid metal to be had so they’ve recommended using the putty you suggested. First the inside is treating to an acid bath then the repair can take place. The longest job will be the paint work to the outside. Approximately 3 weeks turn around.
Great! Por Patch 15 is the best repair gloop available, and getting rid of the rust with a light acid rinse will stop it coming back & prevent fueling problems. Three weeks isn't too bad especially as its wet cold and nasty out.
