Get Your Bike Serviced .. Now!

Discussion in 'Ducati General Discussion' started by Misterpink, Nov 12, 2019.

  1. Yeah - he still does the pick up.....Saturday mornings and then drops back following Saturday - it's bloody brilliant!
my MTS had its 15k service with all the bells n whistles for £750..... pretty reasonable, and beginning of the year I had him do a service and clean the hub before my summer tour....even took pics to show me what he did.
We all know he's a good guy - so hopefully lets support him a bit more.

  3. And there is your problem, the majority of riders seem to want their bikes serviced in April/May time before getting back on the roads after a winter lay off. Andy

  4. I just read the facebook update that he has been inundated with bikes to work on and is saved nice response from the ducati family

  10. Good work Misterpink; I've only heard good things about Alec so it's very cheering to read that there's been a good response.

Re the pickup, do you know how large a radius he typically covers?

  11. Im in Bristol so im outta the loop as it were...does he do other bikes as well as Duc's ? just wondered as that could be more work for him...

  12. Nice story that, hope he survives

  13. Too far I’m afraid. I can put you in touch with a good bike courier who could collect.

  14. London is in the zone and if I remember correctly its £50 total for the collection and delivery , bloody bargain.

  15. Alec did my Desmo service last year and I was pleased with the service.
I have just booked in for an annual check and oil change, ready for spring.

  16. My bike was dropped off at Proteam this morning for recommissioning. Yes the speedo and Tacho cables are tied to the exhaust.
