?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Guessing, If inflation is kept low it shows financial prudence and so offers better borrowing rates to fund services where there is a shortfall. If it's not kept low we end up with a shite credit rating and as a nation, paying interest at wonga type levels.

ooo Jeremy is wearing a tartan type scarf, he must be in Scotland?

  2. Perhaps that is correct but it hasn't worked out too well, everybody is skint and mortgaged to the hilt and we don't borrow feck all to get us out of the shit services provision

  4. ‘To keep inflation low and stable, the Government sets us (The Bank of England) an inflation target of 2%. This helps everyone plan for the future.

If inflation is too high or it moves around a lot, it’s hard for businesses to set the right prices and for people to plan their spending.

But if inflation is too low, or negative, then some people may put off spending because they expect prices to fall. Although lower prices sounds like a good thing, if everybody reduced their spending then companies could fail and people might lose their jobs.’

  5. If you watch the vid and at the beginning and end, it says darrengrimes.com was a bit of a hint :D

ahaa half wit strikes again. If I say it says darrengrimes at the end, you say I am wrong because "At end it only appears after the clip has ended" Which most people would consider IS the end of the video

were you born coming out the wrong way?

  6. However, it would seem that the 2% target is too low as people are now in perpetual debt as opposed to effectively being able to mortgage to the hilt and pay off early with higher inflation eating the relative value of debt. It probably has encouraged the PCP business model but that's another story.

Good for business, bad for individual?

  9. What most matters for consumers is the margin of interest paid (Credit or savings) above or below the inflation rate, contrasted with wage growth (Or stagnation).

Hyper-inflation hurts because unless you can hedge your savings in an above inflation paying account they evaporate away. When you sell something, you can’t buy a replacement with the money received, so it’s desirable to stockpile goods that appreciate rather than saving money which devalues. The trouble is that no-one wants to sell you anything (For cash) as it would be worth more tomorrow, so bartering becomes the norm.

Government debt is wiped out by hyper-inflation, but so is that Government’s credit rating and future ability to borrow. Venezuela (Much praised by Mr Jeremy Corbyn) has real problems at the moment, as have Zimbabwe, Hungary and Yugoslavia in the past.

watch as scotland bring the rest of the U.K. to a grinding halt if democracy is not respected

  13. Could you possibly do that bit in London? It's hard enough getting past the queues heading up to the M1 in the morning, I couldn't possibly handle having to swerve and miss some lovely Scottish folk out on a jolly good protest.

Londoners are kinda used to all that now, they have water cannons and everything, I reckon they like it as it makes them feel special :upyeah:

    Just kidding;)

But they do have water cannons*

    * Edit - it appears they don't lads, bozza sold them so they're fair game..go get em :upyeah:

FYI us Nottingham lads are armed to the teeth with Nerf water guns....just saying ;)

  18. Holy fuck o_O

I was just minding my own business Google searching 'does Essex have water cannons' and look what popped up

    https://www.guardian-series.co.uk/news/17235833.controversy-as-water-cannons-sold-for-scrap/

    Completely forgot about that

To be honest though Al, I can't see the Scottish lads detouring over Essex way, by the time they've cleared the traffic at Luton they'll just want to get fired into the centre of London, it's a bloody long drive :upyeah:
