I dont see it as a leap of faith as it will no doubt be very good. But the cost to change my 19 Tuono would be about 8 grand I would guess and that's a lot of Euro trackdays. Plus after 2000 miles I'm just getting to know the bike maybe after next year and 10000 more miles it might be time to change, and for sure the Streetfighter would be top of the list. It would be a nice 60th birthday present as well
i have no doubt whatsoever that the new bike will be amazing. my dealer has basically said i can have my deposit back if i don't like the look of it when we see it in the flesh in Birmingham. reckon he'll have a Q round the corner so no problem for him. more concerned with the bloody price of the 'extras' as above. however, presume will add to the overall value and depreciate at same rate - especially the pipes. but £3k for a slip on.... £350 for glorified carbon tail tidy!! also presume the likes of R&G etc will be doing their version but please shout if you see anyone else developing parts etc soon
I’ll wait for RSR to start putting out carbon parts. Conquest are as bad as Ducati with prices and no better quality.
It will be a better road bike than the Panigale and probably nearly as good on track . It's a lot of cash but if I had the money I would be tempted.

The last I heard was that one dealer had taken 44 deposits on Street fighters, but that was 2 weeks ago so probably a few more to add.
