I saw him in Nottingham back in the mid eighties. I think it was the Playhouse or something like that. It was a fantastic show, a real spectacle.
The worst thing about karaoke is when a couple of pissed-up numpties decide they want to give us nine and a half minutes of pain.
He is a nightmare for this i've been to see him many many times over the years but on the last tour he cancelled the Cardiff gig 3 times before he played and always at the last minute. I must admit it was not the best gig but he is no spring chicken anymore. He is due to play Cardiff again this Sunday but god's knows if he will and not cancel again.
He was on TV the other day looked pretty ill if you ask me . He was saying he now suffers from bad balance problems. Due to quite a few head injuries. He's had several falls. When asked what cool rock N roll high jinx caused this he said sadly more things like walking into kitchen cupboard doors!!! Also I had no idea but he doesn't drink alcohol. He looked a funny grey colour Not good at all. He lost lots of weight at one point and looked healthy
