I reckon one more season for cal tops he certainly doesn’t give the impression he is in for two more years might jack it in this summer even
Got to be Zarco’s seat. Cal will stay where he is until he pulls the pin at end of 2020 season. Although never a big fan of JL , he has earned himself a well respected place in the history of GP. His lap time consistency was second to none.
That's fcuked up Royal Enfield plans for WSB challenge they will have wait for Cal to retire Jaylo should return the money he's been paid for 2019
pretty high id say... that said, if zarco smashes it this weekend and blitzes cal id say pretty low!!!and that said, as i watch fp1 and 2 just now, they are talking about him having to turn his back on monster and go to red bull.. could be a deciding factor for cal IF he was offered the seat... i cant seem them bringing AM either as he aint ready.... i think the ride is zarco's unless he blows it big time this weekend... BUT! we all know what my predictions are like when it comes to sport!!!!!
Interesting interview with Taka in the pit lane followed by an informed discussion by Keith Huewen and Colin Edwards during MotoGP FP3. Big issues with extant sponsors seem to be the major deciding factor. Taka is with Idemitsu whereas the factory team is sponsored by Repsol. Crutchlow is sponsored by Monster whereas the factory team is sponsored by Red Bull. There also seems to be a preconception that the factory team 2nd rider has to be Spanish. Oddly, whilst Huewen and Edwards were bigging up Zarco, absolutely no mention made of Marquez Jr. In the wake of JL’s retirement announcement, in one interview, Mark Marquez seemed to suggest that whilst he thinks his younger brother is a deserving Moto2 champion, he most certainly is not ready for a factory MotoGP ride. Personally I think Jnr is on a hideing to nothing and he should have kept away from HRC he will always be compared to big brother He should have stayed in Moto 2 and then pushed for a works Yamaha or KTM in 2021 or
