So what have you done today..?

Went to fit four oversized ceiling cassettes today in a Childrens Nursery that is just being built.
This involves cutting the centre of nine squares in a ceiling grid.... Cut one bar and the whole lot come down..... someone forgot to tie the grid to the ceiling.... It had one support and that's the one I cut.
Good job it was just me and a mate. It could have been 40 odd preschool kids!!! Someone is for it tomorrow when the boss gets in. Mark got a cut hand and I nearly had a heart attack.

I refurbished the Brembos and fitted winter tyres for the 748 today.



Ha ha, just kidding. I blinged up the DucatDoodlePug's wheels (and had new 12" tyres on that) but they do look a bit Brembo-ish.

 

That's good news for any defender owner with secondhand values climbing high.

Done a lil more messing about tonight..
Not good at working with paint and colour..
So I photo copied my sketch, then painted, then photo copied that , then did details with pencil again..
I like parts of it and I'm on the right track I think. Bits are terrible but that's why I'm messing about.. Once I have got my system sorted I will do it larger on illustration board and then reduce it...
