?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Hmmmm. I hadn't considered the connection tbh and when he was being interviewed he looked even more mendacious than he usually does and was clearly just making it up as he went along (his usual MO tbh, but more obvious). If what you say is correct (and it sounds plausible) they obviously hired one of those reputation management SEO companies to bury the bus thing .

I have noticed he has this look/body language when he is lying (no, not "his lips are moving"), where he looks like a naughty smirking schoolboy, the amount of eye contact reduces and he looks at the floor a lot and I remembered it was especially evident during that interview

  2. Bingo, that's out loveable, bumbling, hamless, jolly old Boris.....

  3. Remind me, should we choose which Party to vote for or which candidate ?

  4. I wonder how many bt broadband customers are phoning them saying they want to leave as they will be getting it for free soon?

  5. Best to be inclusive

  6. I'm in, can't wait to get 50 Gbits for free - right now I have to pay about £40/month for less than 1 - stuff the magic money tree I want the magic Gbit tree to be planted at my gaff :upyeah:

  8. If you have family in the legal profession, vote labour. Those compulsory purchase orders on gas, electric, water and now internet will spend so much time in the courts, it will pay off their uni fee's quickity split

  9. Crazy! Mines £17.86 for 100Mbps connection speed unlimited use with Virgin.

  10. Erm, none - they are doing the remote places first evidently then upgrading areas with connection last. So after doing finm's remote long house which is 100 miles from any neighbour they will be skint o_O

  11. i'm not 100mls away from my nearest neighbour, just a 100mls from anybody i like. its all english out here in the sticks.
    :p

  14. One of my lames to fame is that Joanna Lumley gave me a saucy wink on the Marylebone Road, just near Westminster Mags (she’d just come out of the Landmark Hotel), in 2014.

  17. Well, she didn’t seem very pleased that I didn’t wink back, but “pissed” would be putting it a bit high

  18. No, I was using that article to put across how important the high earners tax was to all of us. When the French put up the highest earners tax, they fled to London, just as Labour plans would also drive out many of the high earners. Higher tax rates will often reduce the overall tax intake. It also happened to the stamp duty when it was raised to 10% for properties over £935k; the overall tax intake dropped as they caused the market to slump with few selling. I don't believe the number of London bankers will fall much over Brexit. Euro FX business will ebb away but London is unique and will quickly adapt and continue to prosper.

It's interesting that most posts knock BJ and the Tories but the poll states nearly 50% support. Are the against just more vocal or will we just vote Tory knowing the alternatives are worse?

  19. Come to think of it, she might have been as there’s a Wetherspoons just down the road which is frequented by all the local lushes.*

I took this photo of one of its patrons while I was in there having brekkie once, having been uncerominously turfed out of the Landmark at 9am by a woman down in London on a business trip who I’d had a one nighter with, as it would have required some explanation if I’d pitched up at the table with her and her colleagues discussing sales projections for the next quarter over croissants and coffees

    * For the benefit of Ms Lumley’s lawyers, I should clarify that I am in fact referring to Ms Lumley's famously alcoholic tv character, Patsy, and not Ms Lumley herself.

  20. Is that the late weird horse racing comentator?
