  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  1. Exactly Alan..
DO NOT VOTE FOR ANY PARTY AT THE FORTHCOMING GENERAL ELECTION, NON OF THE PARTIES ARE WORTH VOTING FOR, THEY ARE NOW JOINING RANKS AND GANGING UP ON THE 17.4 MILLION WHO VOTED TO LEAVE, THEIR INTENTIONS IS SOLEY TO STOP BREXIT,
EVEN IF BORIS GOT VOTED IN WE WOULD NOT GET THE BREXIT WE VOTED FOR....WE ARE TOLD BY ALL PARTIES THAT WE HAVE & LIVE IN A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY...WHAT A LOAD OF CODSWALLOP.
    # ALL POLICICANS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE SERVANTS OF THE PEOPLE & NOT SERVANTS OF PARLIAMENT & FAT CAT COMPANY BOSSES !!!!!!

PS... BORIS IS NOW SAYING THE YORKSHIRE FLOODS ARE NOT A NATIONAL CRISIS, SO THAT MEANS NO BIG INVESTMENT IN OUR YORKSHIRE FLOOD DEFENCES, BUT IT WOULD BE DIFFERENT IF IT WAS IN THE LONDON AREA.... WHAT A FUCKING ARSHOLE !!! AS ARE ALL THE REST OF 'EM

  2. So with naked WHATABOUTERY what do you think about this? Blojob says the infastructure could be in place within five years. Presumably he knows? Maybe Corbs got the info from the Tories?

" In June, as he stood for the leadership of the Conservative Party, Boris Johnson described that strategy as "laughably unambitious". (refering to PM Mays' target of 2033).

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-49881168
    Link from J Biker!

Writing in the Daily Telegraph, he said: "We should commit now to delivering full fibre to every home in the land not in the mid-2030s - but in five years at the outside."

That 2025 target was reaffirmed - albeit somewhat less explicitly - in speeches after Mr Johnson won the Conservative leadership contest and as he entered No 10. There was talk of "fantastic full-fibre broadband sprouting in every household".

  4. This is a bit of a red herring. It's a bit like saying by leaving the eu we will not have access to a gps system when everyone has been using gps on their sat navs for decades

Saying only 1.5% of homes has fibre broadband implies that if you don't have it, then you have no broadband and yet, here we all are.

We have one of the highest internet figures in europe per nation https://www.internetworldstats.com/stats9.htm

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_European_countries_by_number_of_Internet_users

We have on average, 94% of the population using the internet with a countrywide use by over 63 million
    https://www.statista.com/statistics/262966/number-of-internet-users-in-selected-countries/

63 million out of 66 million people is not 1.5%

  5. In my defence I haven't said anything about the logistics or timescale around the rollout, therefore whatever Boris has said doesn't matter to me as I'm well aware he's a berk.

Nonetheless, it's the manner of today's announcement and supreme naivety regarding the commercial aspects and implications that got me about Corbyn and mcdonnell, but I've covered that already.

I've since decided that all proposals are good and everything is possible if we just believe......:party::sun:

  6. I’m having trouble keeping up.

The free internet thing is bad if it’s Labours idea, but Tories internet thingy is good ?

Reading through, there are reasons ( good ? ) to not vote Tory or Labour.

    Lib Dem’s then ?

  7. Well it could be made up, but thats not probable.

  8. I get what you mean but your graph is by the industry trying to tell us we all need fibre broadband. A bit like telling us that unless we all eat gold flavour crisps then no one in the u.k. eats crisps at all.

The fact remains, over 94% of the U.K. is using the internet and we have one of the heaviest traffic uses within europe
so it seems not having fibre optic broadband doesn't seem to be holding us back at all

  9. We will all switch to 5G so what’s the point of discussing a stupid idea?

  10. I totally understand what you are saying about usage. The discussion was more about how are the UK accessing the internet in their homes and businesses, what infrastructure is in place and being provided by BT.

  11. I get it do, what I was raising is not only is labour telling you that you can have fb by 2030 (we would probably have that by that date by normal technical advances without labour) but it's being sold like a new iphone.

The 70gb broadband you have today is fan fecking tastic but the same internet the next day is now obsolete if fb kicks according to the marketing boys now trying to sell and charge for fb. It's an issue Labour should have stayed away from, it's made them look stupid and no doubt cost votes

  13. Everything is always bad if Labour wants to do it, right up until the second the Tories announce they want to do the same thing.

  15. torys want to improve the service infrastructure, I'm dubious as to why they haven't done it yet

Labour wants to power grab all of the internet companies so the state now controls our access to the internet, pretend it's all free and taking on massive pensions responsibilities we could never afford

  16. Disagree with the first comment. Tories just want profit.

Agree completely with the second comment. More “Big Brother”.

  17. I pick on whoever promises they will do something, is actually in a postion to do so, but then doesn't do it at all. Especially when they have had more than enough time to at least make a good start. Currently thats the Tories.

    Labour are not in power.
