  1. I sometimes think I move to a parallel universe when at work

    The boss has just chucked some wooly thing at me and asked me to catch his wet hat - wtf is that a ooffamisum for?

    Glad he's off up north tomorrow the conversation has now moved to syphilis and tempole tudor and if he was a member of the royal family

  5. All dialed in!!!

    Much appreciated after 11 hours on a plane and 6 on trains .......I had to chuckle at the colour coded "back" and "front"[​IMG]

  6. Changed my rear sprocket for another I had knocking about. Had the majority of one tooth broken off and part of another next to it gone.
    Think this is what caused it to throw the chain whilst on the roundabout, the missing tooth didn't catch the link and as I was feeling particularly brave the bike was leant over quite far, gravity pulled the chain and hey presto, brown pants.

    Also the eccentric hub had migrated out of the carrier on the sprocket side by about 2-3mm, cant have helped with alignment.

    Anyway good forecast tomorrow so a have washed her and will fiddle a little more in the morning and if all is well will ride her all day...

    (Oh how I've missed the "helmet" and "riding" innuendo's)

  7. Got my suspension sorted including ride height adjuster. Miles better than the standard settings and instantly more comfortable in corners. Might do a little tweaking still as its very nearly right but not quite there.

    Oh and it got a bloody good clean too! :biggrin:

  8. got the TRAXX brake hoses with black banjo's ! 1 T for the calipers , 1 for the ABS... done in 15 minutes! well priced, top service.. ! :)

  13. Tested one of those (not sure what brand it was) many years ago for electrical safety, and turned out to be an electric chair in the waiting.

    It may well be hygienic but I just don't like the look of that mini shower head coming out like an "anal intruder 2000 series"

  18. Gave the bike a good clean after getting caught in the rain on Saturday. Muc off wheels and bottom half, used my new MucOff wash mitt which is really good, then my new microfibre cloths and finally a good polish with Autoglym.
