Not been since 2002 but with those prices and the heavy police/road management funkillers these days i think id prefer to go when the races arent on and enjoy myself properly.
We were only discussing this in the pub last Saturday - a lot of the guys go every 2nd year but do the Manx the odd time as well. I was the only one there that has never been, The consensus was to go when the ferries are cheap and just enjoy the Island.
Correct I was recently offered £3000 to bring one over without passport hidden in the van also a mate who drives a big car transporter was offered £7000 to bring over one migrant.

Never been to the island but in all honesty I’d prefer low key racing like an Irish road race or the Manx etc just don’t like the mega big events with everyone wearing merchandise
