Was that the one where they "immediately resolved it" after a warning from the electoral comission, then did it again ?
Simple honesty is always a good thing in friendly discussions. You do recall the Plymouth council being discussed just a day or so ago?
That’s a no then, it’s wasn’t entertaining. to be fair it’s not supposed to be entertainment (I hope).
If people were not entertained I would expect many-perhaps most - people to stop watching. I was highly entertained by some of the questions, appaling non answer bluff and especially by the audience reaction.
Interesting point. Three of my friends are English, having moved up here permanently. They are all now pro-independence Scottish nationalists.
Of course I do, I'm kidding and fully aware that Labour and it's mps would never ever make such a mistake again Your honour
There were some useful points made as a result of the questions raised I think. I would hope that programs like these give people a desire to find out more about the policies and the credibilty of those making them.
I have to agree there, I hope people don’t just vote Tory / Labour or whoever just because they always have.
An odd reply given Labour MPs were not involved as you well know. Repetition does not transform a lie into a truth.
On a more serious note, isn't it great we can have such open and honest bantz about our heads of state? I'll genuinely miss this freedom when we're all on state controlled broadband
Bantz Jez, just bantz I can tell you though that Labour campaigners set up stall in the grounds of Nottingham university last week unannounced. All was about getting students to register, it's clearly where they're hoping to get ground back from previously strong held seats dwindling
It is always good to exchange ideas. Its unfortunate that not everyone views debate/ discussion in the same way. To me it means to explain a view and to have the chance to understand others. Its not at all about winning or even changing someone elses view.
It's the mail so I know some won't read it but that's okay. I just found it funny https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...sons-firm-goes-liquidation-owing-100-000.html
Presumably so yes, I wasn't there but my Mrs works there. It only came up in conversation because of the other news story regarding student registrations Either way I can see why they'd do it so it's not exactly a dig at them really
