I suppose it depends on what you think watered down is. People often think race bikes are monsters but realistically they’re not usually. Wild bikes don’t make good race bikes. Trackday rider: “the thing wheelies everywhere and it’s super fast” racer: “i need to dial this wheeling out to make the bike faster over a lap”
Absolutely. Lots OF trackdayers that tell me they have to keep their 200+bhp beast in sport mode to make it actually rideable (by them).
I think he meant the GP bike! But the same applies - there’s very few mortals that could jump on a full spec GP machine and not be spat off without a big chunk of electronic assistance! I reckon I would need to drink so much to calm my nerves they definitely wouldn’t let me near it!
