Quick question about your local Conservative candidates...............if they've been invited to take part in a hustings/Q&A session in your area have they turned up? The reason I ask is that my local Conservative candidate has twice been invited to talk, twice accepted the invitation, and twice not turned up, not even apologising beforehand or afterwards for non attendance. Now given that the leader of his party isn't taking part is such events either I just wondered if there was Tory directive nationally telling candidates not to talk to the public.
my candidate has been criticized for not attending them all. but have you seen the size of his/our constituency.
