I have budget envy - I prefer the ritual of making espresso myself and would ideally get a Londinium R lever machine. But I certainly understand the attraction of super automatics for those that like them, and that's one of the best.
Before I got into good coffee, my coffee maker used to also function as a dishwasher and sandwich maker. Chocolate and churros are the perfect excuse not to drink torrefacto.
Weatherspoons £1.20 if you sit in and you can have as many refills as you want or 99p for a take out.
You’ve reminded me that I got one of these given a while back and we bought some slaughterhouse blend beans from the coffee shop in Cromarty in the summer so I’ll make myself a nice cuppa in the morning before going to the school Christmas fete. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Cafflano-Klassic-Coffee-Maker-Black/dp/B00VRYMTR0?th=1
Either that or some have posted their wish list on the forum then making sure their mrs see's it in time for chrimbo
Your beans will be very stale by now. Best get some fresh ones from a quality roaster. Lots of Black Friday offers on at the moment with 25% and 20% off being common.
10 year old Jura bean to cup and use Wogan Coffee - use their Josh Eggleton blend https://wogancoffee.com/all-our-coffees/
I can`t wait for the "What`s the best biscuit to have with the coffee or tea thread" thread. This could become the new "what`s the best oil " thread. (Any and all biscuits with coffee, shortbread is my fave. No biscuits with tea, we`re supposed to be civilized people!!!)
I’m a bit of an Alessi fan-boy when it comes to stove top espresso makers...with the exception of the monster Bialetti. Always use standard Lavazza Rossa as it is pretty much industry standard.
+1 for Wogan Coffee - fortunately for me that their roasting emporium is just a mile away. However, the thought of a biscuit with coffee - leave that to the tea-dunkers! A bite of 90% chocolate with coffee is, well, an experience...
Lotus Biscoff biscuits are ok with coffee. Don't start me on biscotti - they're meant for wine, not coffee.
