Has anyone else seen his excuse on the BBC website? BBC News - Man 'disgusted' at Tyne-Wear derby police horse attack Seriously, if i lived any closer to him I would feel it my civic duty to punch his lights out. What an utter moron.
And he had his scarf over his face because he had lost a tooth and the wind was causing him pain Yeah right
Just goes to show what a can of special brew can do to a fat middle aged pillock. He said he fears reprisals, i say he got that bit right.
FB friend posted a shot of front of Sun where he was interviewed. Is it surprising he's on disability and not worked in years?
'Was' on disability, might not be for much longer once the dla visit him, he looked active enough to me. What a turkey, hope when he goes to court that they see through his pathetic excuse. He lives about 6 miles from me apparently and local animal rights people now know where he lives.
We are a funny lot... Punch each other and that's kinda ok....Harm an animal then it's outrage!
When I was really ill and on a long course of steroids, I could have flattened anyone; despite feeling rough, I felt really powerful................but even then I would have thought twice about thumping a horse. This bloke is disabled?..........My arse. AL
Did anyone else see that stupid woman from the FA on the news saying "this is not hooliganism..." Excuse me, but WTF is it then ?
Best quote I heard was a toffy-type returning from 6 months in Bermuda, arrived to screams of Thatcher in the news with miners protesting and shouting hatred, police in running battles, football hooliganism...he thought he'd come thru the triangle and landed in 1979
I watch football and don't act in that manner. It's not fans in general. sadly you get those who go to cause trouble . basically go to a Derby game to cause a scrap. Real fans are just as discusted at their actions as non fans.
Humans? can defend them selves, animals unless they have big teeth need protection. Horse should have given him a good kicking or stood on him.
Actually thought police were pretty reserved. I *may* have been in the middle of police charges in my hoof and you get out of the way! You don't run at them...which brings another question. Have we handcuffed (pun intended) the police so much with potential complaints, litigation, etc etc that they now withhold from action needed? Or are they a different breed who just don't like a scrap any more?I vote the first...
Has anyone noticed the way these morons all bounce around on their toes when encouraging a scrap? Hardly what I would call a menacing threat.........particularly as they bounce backwards when Plod advance...... I would like to see the return of a properly formed riot squad to deal with them; IE, like Plod had years ago, or the army. AL
