Generally yes. There is usually a lacquer coat over the decals. The exception I've found so far is the new Supersport 939. There may be others.
I use this guy for xpel ultimum plus film. https://ardetailing.com He’s just moved to new premises in Hillington just around the corner from Ducati Glasgow. Tried to get film applied to my 1098 by the guys that fit film for Ducati Glasgow as work looks very good. Unfortunately they don’t offer a kit for my bike and have no interest in fitting someone else’s kit. The guy at AR detailing work is excellent although his main work is detailing cars. He will only entertain work if he can get the software templates for your bike though and cuts the hardware templates on site with a laser plotter.
