No, no reserve. I think that’s the problem as I think it costs more to advertise with a reserve so it’s ‘selling’ but at a price lower than he likes. He then dibs out if the deal, waits and re-advertises. Hence turn up with a bag of cash and catch him on the hop.
A seller did that this year with a very nice 900SL in yellow,the asking/start price auction was £4750 but no one bid three times,i viewed it and offered £5500 for it but he refused.
^ some (most) people have an overinflated opinion of what their bike is worth. This is why I am so interested in the V4s auction.
