Sending my bike for it's next annual service and took a look at the service book. Is it me or does anyone else get unusually annoyed when you send your bike in for a service and when you collect the bike some illiterate numpty filled the service book in and made a hash of it. Now, there's only a few things to fill in, date, mileage etc so how on earth can you make such a mess of it. Cannot stand the lack of attention when so called specialist service departments can't do the simplest of tasks. God only knows why it winds me up.
Tvvats, I once got an MOT certificate with the wrong registration and colour of car?! When I enquired as to the faux pas it was is if it was my fault and I could only get a certificate with 'copy' plastered over it??
The amusing thing was the car was red (not quite a Ferrari) and the test was done in winter with a bit of the white stuff falling. MOT certificate stated car colour 'white' and they guessed the final 3 letters of the number plate (assuming the car was local)
What a bunch of plonkers! They could have least made a neater correction. Makes it look like it’s been tampered with (by a five year old) I would keep the invoice just to prove it hasn’t.... Or get creative with some Tipex
I have had a similar issue twice now. My hyperstrada i bought 2nd hand had next service due written in as 7500 mile intervals. When its actually 9000 miles. Which gave me a bit of a panic when selling it again it looked like it was overdue a service when in fact it was still 1000 miles away. Then with my new 950Sp the guy just wrote 7500 right away and i had to correct him. He then proceeded to tipex it out and write 9000, Hardly a professional service for the premium they charge
