Simple politics, we know what we have, if you seek to replace them, show why you would be better, so far no party has shown anything that seems to justify a swap?
My comment was because of posts like that dude - go fathom - you're always citing them so have some back
The funniest thing about the snp's indi wish, is many of the points they raise to support it, are the very same points they have tried to use to rubbish U.K. indi through brexit.
I'll keep it brief as I know you like Scottish indi to bleed into all threads. One of the reasons given by the snp to leave the U.K. is that a majority population country has a bigger infuence in how a smaller population country is run. The snp cited in 2014 the all 28 countries agree or nothing is agreed, making even the smallest country, equal. The snp, as do you, know the all or nothing vote has been scrapped since 2014 and has been replaced with the majority of the 28 instead of all the 28. This leaves Scotland without the "equal share" it told voters in 2014, that Scotland would have. In black and white, the all for one of the eu has gone so how will you fare fighting with the other 27 for Scotland as opposed to fighting 3 for Scotland??
john Major doesn't believe that Boris Johnson is fit to be PM. Ken Clarke doesn't believe that Boris Johnson is fit to be PM. Michael Heseltine doesn't believe that Boris Johnson is fit to be PM. I'm on the ouija board right now, hoping to get the final word from Thatcher.
i'm strugling to follow this, but what i think you're saying is, there is now only a majority required to introduce EU legislation?
I remember when we discussed this last, you needed to dig around the eu's own website, something very few remainers do https://www.independent.co.uk/news/...-policy-veto-qualified-majority-a9006686.html https://www.europarl.europa.eu/RegData/etudes/ATAG/2014/545697/EPRS_ATA(2014)545697_REV1_EN.pdf
i doubt i would of bothered to do that. not in 2014 as you keep referencing. things have changed since then, accept it.
