  1. Yep I've given up first to second in favour of a clutch shift...looking forward to Odiham :)

  2. Ar....Odiham. Bet you can get it flat in top on the limiter :upyeah:

  3.

  4. Quickshifter is fantastic. :upyeah:

  5. Which quickshifter do you guys have? Are they a pain to fit and how much are they?

  6. Mine is standard Ducati on the 848 Evo Corse SE. Great bit of kit though. Saves about 40% of clutch changes, and therefor your left wrist is fresh as a daisy at the end of a ride. Which is a bonus if you're left handed :upyeah:

    Unfortunately I'm right handed :frown:

  7. Which is always sore...

  8. Yep standard on the Corse SE but apparently the HM shifter is a better unit if you're looking at after market. The Ducati one is pretty basic by all accounts although I have nothing to compare it to. Dementor is the man to consult on this.....

  9. How different could it be? It changes gear quickly. Job done

  10. Don't know.... Never used one but apparently it's smoother on the change as you can program the delay on the ignition. I'm sure someone who knows more will be able to give more detail shortly.

  11. It's to do with set up and how much/little intrusion cutting in and for how long. Essentially adjustability. From what I've read.

Hoping to try one see how different it is. Rarely use clutch going up box anyway, and can keep it fairly pinned thru the box with very little roll off but people rave about them for a reason...

  12. Yeah I know Roy likes his HM one....I think Ive spent enough for the moment though!

  13. Well i never knew ducati supplied the evo corse with a quickshifter. You live and you learnz....

  14. you dont sound very convinced

  15. I think everyone puts a different priority on any modifications they do.....if any. I'm enjoying the Ducati standard quick-shifter as it is at the moment but as with all these things they can be 'improved' or altered if you deem it important enough to fork out some mulla. As the HM shifter is £400 plus fitting its not even on my to do list....and may never be.

As always.....each to their own eh?

  16. Why even consider changing if the std one works perfectly :upyeah: mine doesn't have one hence never tried one

  19. Every day is a school day :upyeah:

  20. I tell you what.......you'd have to be bloody good to tell the difference. Mine is a peice of piss and smooth to use. Never missed a beat so far.

Sounds to me that you've fallen for the marketing hype.

BTW do you drink Coca Cola?
