British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. you pay to much heed to Laurence's posts. filter out the waffle, and you will find contradictions a plenty.

  2. yes.
The big contradiction with free marketeer right wingers is the market is king, but only when it doesn’t offer protection of jobs

let’s say I opened up a mail order parts business, as a side income and undercut say @Exige by a long way, because it’s a second income. If I were a Romanian, the the problem would be immigration, not the free market.

    the problem would be foreigners

  4. I posted it for two reasons fin, the scottish nhs is shelling out millions to american companies to run the scottish nhs and whilst at the same time, saying the tories are selling the nhs by doing the same thing as the scottish nhs.

one of scottish nhs's major contractors is Leiidos, who not so long ago joined with Lockheed, positioning the company as the global defence industry's largest enterprise in federal technical solutions is one and the same of the scottish nhs's contractor companies

Bearing in mind the snp's position on arms companies and yemen, it would seem odd they chose an american company for their nhs, that does indeed, sell arms and tactical advantages in, yemen

  5. Wrong as usual

they are supplying an IT based supplier procurement platform.

  6. yip, they put out a bid to help overhaul the managment of aspects of the NHS, there has been a lot of reform over the last several years integrating health and social care. we spend a tenth per pound compaired to the english national health service and getting better results.
tell us what you know about arms companies and yeman.
is it something long the lines of funding provided to move away from arms manufacturing and that arms sales are a reserved matter.?

  14. Source please... those numbers cannot be comparing eggs with eggs.

  15. The second statement would seem to suggest it is more than just a few i.t. guys dicking around wouldn't you say?

  16. true. its hard to compaire. we use a different methodology for waiting times and performance. ours are more stringent.
much of our nhs is provided in rural locations.
    we have an older demographic.
we have drink and drug legacy to deal with going back to the 70s and 80s.
we have more PFI's than rUK.
so yip, its v,hard to compare. but still, with all those handicaps and less privatisation, its performing better. don't take that as evidence of you being lesser of intelligence or ability. you just have an inferior Gov and parliamentary system when it comes to serving the people.

  17. Now, based on experience of snp and young finnial, ask to see a link or even better the actual numbers and not percentages. They both have a proclivity to use percentages to hide real figures :D

  18. Thanks for the diatribe.... I meant where the figures come from on management costs as a percentage of funding.

  19. is that your way of saying its not possible because its happening without your knowledge?

  20. It's going to be a very merry Christmas in the Mr. AirCon household.... :)
