McDonnell this morning was asked did he think there will be a run on the pound if Labour won and if so, what support for the pound had they in place if this happened?

This was asked as it was asked in the 2017 election and Mcdonnell said there were support structures in place should the pound drop

His reply to this same question this time was, The pound won't drop if labour wins, if anything it will go up.

 

ah, the old run on the pound thing again.
i think it would be a worth the risk and a small price to pay if it helps to keep this shit from gaining ground over the next 5years.

One of those was start the renationalisation of power and water. I know with rail they say they will do that through taking over when the contract ends but power and water are private companies. If there is a term for it I'm unaware but he seems to be implying compulsory purchase orders type of thing on private companies.

I can see them refuse and then spend years in the courts fighting it.

The 2019 discussion was at the weekend on sophie ridge on sky, anyone can see it for context on sky catch up and it was about the move to an australian immigration system.

The "treating britian as their own", the bit that wasn't shown at the end of own, was "country" where he pointed out so many are coming here without a job and that the move to an australian system would welcome migrants a long as they had a job to come too.
