You can imagine Labours loonerati trying to find who the two actors were and flooding their twitter accounts with death threats.
Yeah lets vote for a bit more of this. The UK economy grew at its slowest annual pace in nearly seven years in October, according to official figures. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-50725715 What will these clowns achieve with another five years that they couldn't in the last ten?
And I'm still waiting for your suppositious sympathy thread on the Yemen given you were so concerned for them yesterday you charlatan. Jog on.
So although whilst slower jez, you do agree the British economy is still growing. Could you tell me how it compares with the eu countries you wish to remain part of because I'm pretty sure the slow down is pretty much universal yes?
Yep... gone are the 3 day weeks.... power cuts..... continual strike action... crippling interest rates, unemployment..... where did I put my rose coloured glasses...
It’s remarkable how many different people have friends who are senior nursing sisters at ‘Leeds Hospital’ but who don’t know that ‘Leeds Hospital’ is called ‘Leeds General Infirmary’ - and who write the exact same tweets... Ps I post this just to point out that there most definitely is a "fake news war" going on.
The problem of entitlement? People wanting everything that everyone else has no matter what? Thats probably a mix of really good marketing, social media setting unrealistic lifestyle standards and to a degree parents still (in my opinion). Im a parent and i too have the usual 'I want I want', regardless whether i can afford to treat my kids at times i don't do it on principle whenever theres an 'I want'. In my house we say 'i would like', at that point we talk about how they may or may not get what it is they 'would like'. They often do, but they also often miss out if its just a 'because' ...if that makes sense. However its not my job to raise other peoples kids, thats theirs, its my job to raise mine. Now if we're talking should people expect basic health care, living standards, clean streets and all that then yes they should, but they should also know its not 'free' and someone, somewhere has to have put effort in to provide these things that not many other countries in the world have or provide for. Tax only applies if you work, and Im not a fan of making it more beneficial to not work than to work. Theres a balance and level of encouragement that must go with benefits. That doesn't mean target the truly ill, or the unable to work. Thats why i like some of Labours policies as they cover basic living expectations, and thats also why i dislike many of their decisions to buy votes with unnecessary freebies as i see them as a waste of money offering nothing to the wider country but debt burden due to the borrowing much of the privatisation will take. 'Free Broadband' which we've covered, is simply either misunderstood by Labour (frightening) or simply used to buy votes as a bribe without thought of consequence (frightening) Fibre lines and broadband speeds are two separate things, most people in the UK are not using a full speed fibre line directly to their home. In most part they don't need to as the majority of streaming services and smart devices don't require anything like full speed fibre, Netflix for Sd tv needs just 2mb, 5mb for HD. So the figures of coverage they use are incorrect or purposefully misleading. This chap makes the perfect point as if it was to improve rural access to broadband/fibre then they should simply support that with grants, instead they're offering it everyone for free and I've already covered why that will put people out of work, in this chaps case likely all 17 of his employees, now role that up to the entire departments running broadband sales for EE, O2, Virgin and on and on. Its just not needed, i wish Labour would have kept things more simple Thats before we get to the privatisation of the top 6 energy suppliers etc Bad idea entirely? No Bad idea to roll all of this out in one manifesto pledge? Most certainly
I am concerned everyday for anyone suffering in the world, but that would be lost on you, so whilst i'm jogging on you can wait on, forever. I dance to nobody Noobie.
The distancing by labour and the nhs is entertaining. The only place in the U.K. where Labour are in charge of anything nhs, is Wales where they have the worst history of any nhs service in the U.K. If ever you needed an example of how labour behaves with the nhs in modern times, look to Wales
They said more about it than the local mp, hilary benn. He's still telling people to stop brexit And to be fair el, it surprises me how many commented on the boy not having a bed available when there was one in the very same picture right next him on his right
Well, I see the confusion with Dylan's Subterranean Homesick Blues and it's not surprising that you are confused, you usually are. Love Actually's original scene my have it's roots in Dylan's creation but that was the reference. Your hatred of The Conservatives seeps out of every pore, no matter what the situation. If Corbyn had done the same thing (I can't imagine it) you would be creaming yourself.
I hate to say that a lot of sales and employment decisions have been put on hold simply due to the uncertainty of Brexit, not necessarily because of Brexit. Businesses just need clarification and fast, then you'll probably see an upturn in employment and sales, unless you're a German car manufacturer, as they've seemingly reached peak sales without a serious range of EV's
I agree. Is the entitlement thing really a big thing is what I'm trying to say, or does it suit an agenda to portray it that way ? I think Labour messed up referring to things like their broadband pledge as 'free'. Stick with we're going to raise more money like this and spend it here, here and here.
