Been in the shed fitting new throttle cables to the Triton, both needed the outer sheaths shortening by an inch, what a fiddly job trying not to damage the inner cable, both done and fitted. Steve
Got an early Christmas present, a new VW Type 1 crankcase, full flow prep and bored for 90.5mm barrels and pistons. Just waiting for the crank then can start building my 2110cc engine for my 71 Earlybay
Picked Carole’s R6 up after getting a full going over including new fork seals and bushes. Got a few fairing fixings on order as well as standard levers and now need to choose a race upper fairing and mono seat. I think I’ll leave wheel refurbishing and new tyres until February to give me enough time to recover from financing my Christmas. Andy
Bummer Birdie, have you a two into one block ? Just wondering why you had to shorten the outers, all three cables are correctly positioned in the slider ?
Yep 2 into 1 both had to be shortened, don't know why, the cables were for a bonneville not sure what carbs they were running, all sorted now though. Steve
Busy few days. call about a role in Stuttgart Monday and cv in Tuesday Interview yesterday for perm role which I was strongly encouraged to apply for by hiring manager and aced it Call today and cv in for London role that sounds great opportunity hoping next week is a tough decision week. Never worked full time London, and it’s 2 1/2 train ride each way...everyone has to work London once, right?!
