  3. Is it really or are you pulling my leg? I think the wing looks terrible and I would never have bought the car on
Purpose but I sort of won half of it in a poker game and bought the other half cos I was pissed up and felt sorry for the pub landlord who’s car it was

  4. Nope. The wing alone can be nearly 2 grand if it’s a straight fit and no paint needed. FWIW I love the aero look and paid 2500 for the full kit incl the boot lid

  5. Blimey. I’m just old fashioned and love the back end without wings

  6. I’m kinda undecided tbh. It’s the best back end of any Porsche (996 btw ;) ) but I love the skirts and gt3 look too. Have fitted the rear spoiler as it’s just change the lid, and the bumper, splitter and skirts are a job when I finally get my garage sorted

  7. Personally I like the purity without spoilers and the gubbins. That said, I'd love a 3.3 Turbo - garage porn but a pig to drive apparently.

I've never had one, but would love to go into a Porsche or Ferrari dealership and order a bog standard one...not a single extra. I'd sit with the salesman and go though every single option asking him to explain what it is, and then say "nah, don't need that".

  8. You wouldn’t want bog standard as the interior is shocking and so are the headlights.
First thing I always want is the best interior, either white leather or red are my usual suspects and without a doubt the best fucking headlights they do at the time as being so low means you get dazzled by every other car but when you have decent lights it cancels every other fuckers lights out. Oh yeah I always order the biggest wheels as well cos.... just because
Dick Lovett in Swindon or Colchester Porsche do the best deals in my experience on new models

  16. Sorted out docs appointment for dad today. Yesterday he calls me around lunchtime, saying he needs my help as he went shopping, as he walked through his front door, he passed out and woke up having shit and pissed himself. I ask what he's done since coming round? he said cleared himself up after calling ambulance.

I get round there and the first responder unit is there who in turn calls an ambulance, we go to a&e and he is diagnosed with copd but needs further tests to see what level he has. Having a chest infection doesn't help but..he does finally own upto smoking 50 roll ups a day despite telling us he had cut it down to 5 a day:mad: . Amoxcillin and a steroid prescribed and appointment made for monday

He knows I'm not happy with him today and I've told him I'm going to lace his tobacco with my own poop

  17. I’m not sure that your current health issue would withstand commuting to London
Trains are rarely on time and standing room for a lot of your journey.
I have a couple of friends who commute to London
One from Oxfordshire and the other outside of London
They could give you a 100 reasons not too

  18. I wonder if you have the time before you have to make a choice bradders, try and do the run at rush hour times.

You would be amazed at the pressure of the commute even more so as it would extend your working day by 5 hours. Given your health of late, a one day experience on the commute may offer some fuller information on the role

  19. Having stayed up half the night watching the election results come in I’m going back to bed.

SWMBO has said she wants help putting up the Xmas decorations this afternoon..........and later this afternoon we’ve got friends coming over for dinner and are staying the night.

Tomorrow we’ve got our old next door neighbours mums 90th birthday party. The guy that bought our house is apparently going to be there and I really don’t want to meet him.

Sunday we’ve got the first lot of Xmas drinks parties to go to (not counting my Xmas drinks with the DOCGB WY branch t’other night)

So this weekend it’s all go!
