Hi all. I am planning to collect this bike soon. It's got 4K miles on the clock and fitted with factory Titanium full system and upgraded clutch. Doubt it ever seen rain and is in almost mint condition. 1 of 16 with signed certificate. Question is how much will I ride it and what's it worth.
Must admit I have never really liked the airwaves graphics BUT THAT LOOKS GOOD! Well done - ride it as much as possible !
Same price or less than a red one, not an official factory bike. Just a UK re paint to shift old stock in the colours of the day for British Superbikes. Unfortunately the sponsor was bubble gum
It appears to have the standard type 2-2 asymmetric headers, probably with a decat pipe for the horizontal head, and a Racefit slip-on. Nothing to do with the RS silencer in your pic, which would not fit the standard subframe or pipework.
Yes, the can pictured on its own has two straps but the one on the bike has three straps. Completely different.
Yes the headers are certainly different, however the silencer is defiantly the same, not spark, Leo Vince ETC. I know nothing about 999's and was just hoping to find out if it something special (worth £) or not. Will help decide how much to pay for the bike. Thanks for you advice
That bike was for sale for a long time on donedeal can't remember how much he was looking on donedeal but it was standard enough money for me not too think it was pricey ? The bike for sale is a standard model sprayed in airways livery and has very little in common with the stripped race bike pictures no Ohlins front or rear so its not an R or an S bike from what I can see ?
