Finished the fascia on my new man cave. Ramp and raised walkway to the side door is the next project.
I'm expecting to get raided by the police. After offering to take parcels coming in for relies and close friends for their kids chrimbo pressies, I've had so many men dropping packages off at my door that a blue light is inevitable. Either that or a offer to join stormzy's gang
Love that , looking to do something similar fairly soon , was it self designed and built or from a company?
Another order received from Aston Martin - they use California Cycleworks PF-09 TPS's on restorations at the AM Works division
I designed and built it myself. I did a couple at my last house so this one didn't take me long. I built the frame, roof etc in a day and it took me another day to board it inside and out. I have put a rubber roof on this one as I'm planning on staying at this house. This is the last two I built just to give you some ideas.
Just as a matter of interest are you laying a concrete slab as the base or are there floor joists sitting on stilts?
There was an old asbestos garage on a concrete base with a concrete ramp up to it. After the garage was removed I built a 4"x2" base on top and at the ramp end it is on 4"x4" stilts as I wanted the extra length.
I'm building one for a client at the moment, there's a couple rules to look out for especially if you have a grumpy bitch living next door, be warned!
Today from 1pm, it's 'Christmas Party Part Deux; This Time it's Messy' - similar to last weeks Part 1 but without the nice meal. Please ignore anything I might post from 6pm onwards.
Today I’m starting to clean the house in readiness for visitors coming for Xmas. I’ll leave the vacuuming till Tuesday I think. This evening we are going to our favourite restaurant with “slow Dave” and his wife.
